Hi! I’m Jamila Sanglokti, and together with my daughter Parisima, we created Purrrisima Cat Boarding to offer a calm, loving, and personalized alternative to traditional pet boarding.

Our journey started in 2021, when we had trouble finding a reliable, hands-on cat sitter. Many boarding facilities were loud, filled with barking dogs, and lacked the quiet, cozy environment our cats were used to. We wanted something different — a peaceful, home-like space where cats could truly relax, feel safe, and get the attention they need throughout the day.

After building an in-law unit behind our home in San Rafael, California, we transformed it into a dedicated cat boarding space: a two-room cat haven, designed exclusively for feline guests. What started as an office became a labor of love — and now, a cozy retreat for cats in need of care while their humans are away.
